How Much for Vinyl Floors?
The average price for a vinyl floor is between $1,400 for sheet vinyl and $2,250 for luxury vinyl products such as luxury vinyl tile and plank, WPC and SPC rigid core (MLF).
But these average prices may not reflect what you'll actually pay when it comes to luxury vinyl flooring. Keep in mind, vinyl floors in general are typically found in kitchens, bathrooms and entryways which don’t often take up a lot of square footage. That helps drive the average price down. As well, the growing popularity of SPC in multi-family homes can have the same effect on pricing, especially when compared to what the average homeowner will actually spend for the same floor.

Luxury Vinyl – Average $2,000 - $2,500
While the luxury vinyl category covers a lot – luxury vinyl tile and plank, WPC, SPC rigid core vinyl – the combination of style and performance has helped drive prices considerably higher than traditional vinyl. Don’t worry, it’s worth it. The improved visuals and better designs have allowed these floors to break out of the kitchen and into feature areas of the home.
As you move into these larger spaces, you can expect to pay upwards of $3,500 for luxury vinyl flooring, especially if you opt for WPC which can be pricier due to its often superior styling and textured effects that deliver the most realistic visuals of the entire category.
Vinyl (sheet) – Average $1,400
Arguably the best value in flooring, sheet vinyl continues to improve as some of the very same techniques that created the growth of luxury vinyl are now being applied to sheet. Avoid inexpensive base grade products and spend a little more to fully take advantage of sheet vinyl's tremendous value and performance.
